Job Summary:
Tutor/Teaching Assistant/Lab student employment opportunity available.
Principal Responsibilities
  • Assist faculty during lab hours
  • Assist faculty with grading
  • Provide set-up, and clean-up(if applicable)
  • Organize, restock, and maintain lab supplies
  • Assist with class-related activities
  • Assist other students with questions, materials, and equipment
  • Maintain materials such as specimens, living plants and/or animals
  • Monitor lab sign in and sign out
  • Oversee open lab practice
  • Maintain security of lab and its contents during open lab hours
  • Provide tutor support
  • Provide desk coverage when needed
  • Conduct one on one tutoring sessions with students
  • Provide instruction, training and skill development
  • Follow department policies and procedures
  • Come to work as scheduled by supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned
