Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Infrastructure Engineer Network & Enterprise Systems to join our IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will assist in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our core infrastructure systems, including wired and wireless Cisco networks, Linux servers, databases, and virtualization platforms. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will be responsible for managing small-scale infrastructure enhancements and business-facing IT projects. This position requires hands-on experience in managing Kubernetes or containerized systems alongside traditional infrastructure, offering an opportunity to work across both systems engineering and cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
Core Systems and Network Administration :
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco-based wired and wireless network infrastructure to ensure system availability.
  • Administer Linux-based servers, including patch management, system configuration, and performance tuning.
  • Assist in the maintenance and backup of virtualization platforms and relational database systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed to ensure 24/7 system availability.

Kubernetes and Security Operations :
  • Participate in the deployment, configuration, scaling, and day-to-day management of the production Kubernetes cloud environment.
  • Implement infrastructure security baselines, manage firewalls, and apply vulnerability patches.
  • Provide infrastructure support and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Project and Lifecycle Management :
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute small-scale infrastructure enhancements and business-requested IT projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical requirements and define project scopes.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure timely delivery of IT initiatives.

Minimum requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1~3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise level Cisco network management.
  • Proven ability to organize, manage, and deliver small-scale technical projects independently.
  • Foundational knowledge of Cisco networking, including routing, switching, VLANs, and wireless systems.
  • Practical proficiency in Linux administration, command-line operations, and basic shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) cluster administration, containerization (Docker), and core K8s concepts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (such as VMware vSphere) and database administration.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CCNA, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or Oracle DB Certificate is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, primarily while working at a desk, with occasional movemnent around the facility.
  • Frequent use of a computer, which involves looking at screens for extended durations.
  • Occasionally required to carry items weighing up to 12 pounds.
  • Frequent coordinated use of hands

Successful candidates will need to be able to work and communicate amiably with engineering, customers, and business partners in a hi-tech, fast-paced, quick-changing work environment. Must be self-motivated and able to make process flow improvements and enhancements. Must have excellent time management skills and be a team player.

Work Location & Schedule:
This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm; however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.
Total Rewards
Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:
At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $92,220 and $124,664 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $92,220 - $135,480 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC's total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
* This position is also eligible for a Sign-On Bonus depending on various factors.
* This position is also eligible for a Relocation Bonus depending on various factors.
