SUMMARY

This role supports shipping operations by accurately picking, packing, and shipping orders, maintaining organized, accurate inventory, and collaborating with team members to ensure products are delivered efficiently and reliably to customers.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Accurately pick, stage, pack, and ship customer orders
  • Perform quality checks on orders prepared by team members
  • Use ERP systems to process shipments, pull orders, and manage inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory and product locations using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
  • Keep the warehouse and stockroom clean, organized, and properly stocked
  • Sort and manage packing and recycling materials appropriately
  • Collaborate with team members and actively participate in team meetings
  • Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives when applicable
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and, if needed, drive between warehouse locations
  • Provide excellent customer service through professional interactions with internal and external partners
  • Maintain consistent attendance and follow established procedures and guidelines


SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

  • Participate in employee committees, recognition efforts, and organizational meetings to support and strengthen our culture.
  • All other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This is an individual contributor role.


EDUCATION / SKILLS /EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of experience in shipping or a related role
  • A valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email, calendar systems, and documentation tools
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred
  • Experience with UPS/FedEx logistics platforms preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, including counting and inventory handling
  • Organized and able to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills


OTHER POSITION CONDITIONS AND/OR PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods on hard surfaces
  • Frequent use of hands for handling, packing, and moving products
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • May involve reaching, bending, climbing, or balancing as part of daily tasks
  • Work takes place in a warehouse environment with typical noise levels and occasional exposure to moving equipment
  • Successful completion of criminal, education, driving, and work history background check required.
