Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Chicago, IL: Sr. Data Scientist to Develop and implement analytics applications and models to transform data into meaningful information. Duties include: design and develop data solutions using industry leading tools, technologies and best practices to profile data and develop efficient ingestion by sourcing data from PBM, Specialty, Retail, and/or HealthCare business; develop advanced algorithms and statistical predictive models to evaluate scenarios, predict outcomes, and provide usable information on health metrics and potential future outcomes; utilize data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and manipulate data from multiple large data sources and deliver predictive models that inform solutions for in-house teams (i.e. pharmacy pricing, medical costs, risk scores, onboarding) and customer engagement across critical journeys (i.e. calories, heart rate, breast cancer, maternity); utilize data-oriented programming languages and visualization software to explore, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms and solve complex business problems; visualize and interpret data and create reports, manipulate data using statistical software, and compare models using statistical performance metrics; and support deployment of insights across multiple channels using analysis methods, machine learning, and statistical analyses. Multiple positions. Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Position requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Data analytics, statistical modelling, data visualization and reporting with a track record of delivering insights and business impact; Data analysis and visualization tools such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python, SQL, or Tableau; Machine learning data mining and other quantitative research analytics such as: Non-Linear Regression Analysis, Multivariate Analysis, Bayesian Methods, Generalized Linear Models, Decision Trees and Random Forest, Non Parametric estimations, Neural Networks, or Ensemble Models; Development of prospective and retrospective study design and evaluation protocols, including study population selection and matching criteria outcome measures definition and statistical methodology; Developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining methodologies for standardized and repeatable reporting for internal and external audiences; Coding statistical packages, machine learning algorithms, and building large dataset; Statistical methodologies, advanced database management and data science; Constructing, validating, and maintaining predictive models in retail industry settings; Analysis methodologies, coding in a statistical language such as Python, R, Stata, or SAS; and Applying statistical and analytic methods to empirical data sets. Pay Range: $119558.00/year to $203940.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
