Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Patient Care Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Hillsboro, Oregon. As a full-time PT, you will play a critical role in evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs that align with physician referrals. Your expertise will directly impact patient recovery and quality of life, while fostering a supportive and evidence-based care environment.

Work Environment

The PT role is entirely onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Hillsboro, Oregon. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities and exercises designed to address specific recovery goals across a spectrum of conditions.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and outcomes, ensuring compliance with therapy standards and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to maximize patient outcomes using evidence-based practices.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction during every interaction.
  • Meet established utilization goals, contributing to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the rehabilitation facility.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists cater to a diverse patient population with varying needs, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. You will have the opportunity to utilize your skills across these specialties, developing your expertise and enriching your professional experience. Your role will significantly influence the recovery and functional improvement of patients, helping them regain mobility and improve their quality of life following injury or surgery.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Oregon.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Proficient computer skills with familiarity in electronic health record systems and word processing applications.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a clinical setting, specifically in physical therapy, with exposure to multiple specialties.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with patients, fostering trust and motivation throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Compensation and Benefits
