Location: 2701 W. North Street in Muncie, IN.This building also houses our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine physician office as well as an OP Orthopedic Surgery Center.
Shift: This position Part Time position.

This location is inside our orthopedics and sports medicine building and focuses on care for patients with orthopedic conditions.There is a large team of PTs, PTAs, and OTs in this facility withmany opportunitiesto learn from colleagues. There are lots of opportunities for collaboration and learning between these growing departments.
The Physical therapist assistants position provides direct patient care and selected physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist. PTA's assist in the clinical education of physical therapy students and clinical supervision of physical therapist assistant students as well as provide guidance and supervision for support personnel. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
Preferred Skills
- Outpatient orthopedic experience ispreferredbut is not required.

Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant education program, or if foreign trained, graduation from an assistant physical therapist education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA. Requires certification as an Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Indiana. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
