Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:
  • Position: Research Assistant-Dermatology
  • Location: Skokie, IL
  • Full Time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
What you will do:
  • Perform all required duties for recruiting, enrolling and following patients on clinical trials.
  • Adherence to all local, state and federal research regulations
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all studies.
  • Assist with IRB processing and submissions, including both Local and Central IRB.
  • Assist sponsors with on-site and remote visits and data queries.
  • Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling, financial tasks, organizing, etc.
  • Obtain consent and specimens, administer exams and questionnaires, enter computer data into files, abstract charts, assist with other study duties as required.
  • Assist in identifying, recruiting and enrolling patients for clinical studies.
  • Be responsible and accountable for assessing, implementing and evaluating the delivery of subject/patient care while fulfilling the daily requirements of medical research protocols
  • Phlebotomy (training provided, if needed), processing and shipping lab specimens and performing ECG's in clinic

  • Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science or Social Science highly preferred.
