Job Summary:
Snowflake is a company powering the era of the agentic enterprise, seeking AI-native thinkers to redefine how work gets done. The Product Manager for the Metadata Platform will drive execution across Snowflake Backups, Cloning, and Metadata Entities, focusing on enhancing platform capabilities and customer data protection.
Responsibilities:
• Own and deliver end to end platform capabilities across Snowflake Backups, Cloning, and Metadata Entities such as incremental backups, Iceberg backups, and metadata supporting AI and Terraform use cases
• Drive measurable impact on key business outcomes, including increasing the amount of data protected through backup and disaster recovery capabilities
• Improve how metadata is accessed, structured, and contextualized across the platform to support analytics, governance, and AI workloads
• Partner closely with engineering to define clear requirements, make effective tradeoffs, and deliver high quality systems at scale
• Translate ambiguous platform and customer problems into structured execution plans with clear milestones and success metrics
• Collaborate with go to market and customer facing teams to drive adoption across capabilities you own.
• Work cross functionally with teams across storage, compute, governance, and AI to ensure consistency and integration across the platform
• Use data and metrics to prioritize work, evaluate impact, and continuously improve platform capabilities
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a top tier undergraduate program
• Early career experience as an Associate Product Manager or a background in investment banking, venture capital, or top tier management consulting
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with comfort using data to inform product decisions
• Interest in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and platforms that power enterprise AI and data workloads
• Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity, insight generation, and execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A growth mindset and eagerness to learn from senior PMs and engineers
