Job Description:

Cortina Solutions is seeking ahigh-impact Senior Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Analystto lead the execution of a complex contract supporting theNaval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). You must be ready toown the mission, overseeing complex, multi-domain efforts thatshape the future of naval warfare technology.The ideal candidate will be expected to lead withExcellence, serve withIntegrity, and approach every problem with a drive toGet Things Done


The Senior Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Analyst provides advanced cybersecurity and IT support for Department of the Navy information systems, ensuring compliance, security, and operational readiness. This role supports the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls across enterprise IT environments in accordance with DOD and Navy policies.


Responsibilities include providing cybersecurity and IT support in compliance with SECNAV M-5239.2 for IT-1 Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) roles with Privileged Access; maintaining required certifications and training for all information systems and operating systems within the scope of duties; and supporting system authorization and continuous monitoring activities under the Risk Management Framework (RMF). The position utilizes DOD-approved cybersecurity tools, including DISA STIG Viewer, DISA SCAP Tool, Tennable ACAS, and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator, to assess, remediate, and report system security posture.

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant civilian or military professional experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant field of study.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization process.
  • Hands-on experience with DOD cybersecurity tools, including DISA STIG Viewer, DISA SCAP Tool, Tennable ACAS, and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator.
  • Active DOD Secret clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant field of study.
  • CompTIA CASP+ or similar advanced certification.
