We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).
Day to Day job Duties:
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the evolution of an enterprise customer profile platform and its integration with a broad ecosystem of applications. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize data solutions, database platforms, and integration capabilities that power critical business processes and data assets. You will leverage cloud-native technologies, modern data engineering practices, and AWS and Snowflake capabilities to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that improve data accessibility, quality, and performance.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or related disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience working with relational and/or cloud-native database technologies, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar platforms
  • 3+ years of experience developing and optimizing complex SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, or database workloads
  • 2+ years of experience developing data solutions using Python, Java, Unix scripting, or similar technologies
  • 1+ years experience developing and deploying cloud-based data solutions, preferably on AWS
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technology field

Travel:This position does not require travel. Required location is NTT DATA's Nashville TN or Plano TX office
Degree: Bachelor's in computer science or Master's degree in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
Nice to Have:
  • Experience working with both relational databases and NoSQL platforms such as DynamoDB and Elasticsearch
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, or SQS
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting ETL/data integration processes
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, Stash, or Ansible
  • Ability to validate, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
  • Experience working within Agile teams distributed across multiple geographic locations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to solve complex technical challenges
  • Desire and ability to learn and adopt new technologies
  • Domain experience in Financial Services, Banking, Wealth Management, or Investment Management
  • Consulting experience with a proven track record of stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, and trusted advisor partnerships
  • Snowflake certification and/or AWS certification preferred

Candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance of or able to relocate to Plano, TX or Nashville, TN.
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role will depend on the location of the successful candidate.
For candidates in both Plano, TX and Nashville, TN, the starting pay range is $94,440 - $118,050. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
