Job Description:

Test Engineer for automated production test systems for next generation of silicon photonics products used in data center interconnect. Responsible for creating highly efficient and effective hardware and software for product compliance testing and defect detection.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-develop automated product testing systems in a team environment in close collaboration with product developers and manufacturing test engineers

  • Develop optimized hardware configurations for compliance testing and defect detection

  • Build test scripts, data acquisition modules and GUI interfaces executing at the highest efficiency for optimum capital utilization

  • Assist with product characterization, design validation, and production yield improvement activities

  • Leverage platforms in place and add new capabilities in a highly structured approach

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science with 8+ years relevant industry or a master's degree in engineering or computer science with 6+ years relevant industry experience

  • Strong background in optical device testing

  • Experience and proficiency in coding in Python, C++ and C# including multi-threaded software and GUI development

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with firmware/microcoding preferred

  • Experience with motion control and vision systems preferred

  • Experience in relational database interfaces such as Oracle preferred

  • Experience in statistical analysis techniques, JMP software, and process control preferred


Compensation and Benefits


The annual base salary range for this position is USD 109,700.00 To USD 175,500.00

All subject to relevant plan documents and award agreements.
