Job Description:

Summary:

A Teaching Assistant (TA)for courses within the Computer Science Department's duties may vary, but can include assistance with grading, designing assignments, conducting office hours, and assisting with in-class labs. Please discuss these with your assigned instructor to establish the expectations of the role and a schedule of working hours that is suitable for you both. As a matter of university policy, you are not expected to provide final grades or assessments for student work, but you may assist with grading by providing your feedback to the instructor.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with grading.

  • Design assignments.

  • Conduct office hours.

  • Assist with in-class labs.

  • Other duties assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Part-time.

  • 5 hours per week.

Salary Range:

  • $18.40 per hour.
