Job Summary:
IERUS Technologies Inc specializes in electromagnetic spectrum technologies and design for RF, IR, and optical applications. They are looking for a Software Engineer to support a large Missile Defense Agency program.
Qualifications:
Required:
• B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field and 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience; or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Applicants must have a current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start.
• Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred:
• Command and control system application development
• Previous experience with message translation software
• Automated testing and pipeline development experience
• Experience with software integration testing, including developing automated test scripts
• Prior experience designing and developing microservices and deploying them with containers
• Experience setting up a container environment
• Understanding of systems engineering, systems design, and development
• Ability to clearly document activities, write project plans, and prepare summary reports
• Strong knowledge of software practices and coding standards
• Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms
• Familiarity with Java Spring
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of backend development and message passing
• Experience developing enterprise applications
