This role combines software engineering with product configuration, 3D visualization, and business logic to create intelligent digital representations of commercial furniture products. Working as part of a cross-functional Agile team, the Software Engineer partners with Digital Product Management, QA, and Delivery Management to deliver new product introductions, enhancements, and ongoing platform improvements.## ## Key Responsibilities* Design, develop, test, and maintain CET software extensions using object-oriented programming principles.* Develop configurable product logic supporting visualization, specification, pricing, bill of materials, and manufacturing rules.* Create and maintain intelligent 2D and 3D product representations.* Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.* Participate in Agile development activities including planning, estimation, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams across North America, Europe, and Asia to support product launches and enhancements.* Troubleshoot software defects and implement quality improvements.* Contribute to engineering standards, development practices, and technical documentation.## ## Qualifications**Education & Experience*** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline OR equivalent experience.* Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience developing software using object-oriented programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, or similar technologies.**Skills & Abilities*** Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, software architecture, and modern software development practices.* Experience with source control systems and Agile development methodologies.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.* Experience developing applications or extensions for CET Designer (Configura) preferred.* Experience developing CAD, 3D visualization, or product configuration applications preferred* Knowledge of commercial furniture, manufacturing, or engineering systems preferred* Experience working with globally distributed development teams. preferred**Who We Hire?**Simply put, we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
