Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available. 

Qorvo's Internship Program offers:

Qorvo's Software Engineering Internships are offered in our Information Technology Manufacturing Systems group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Build, deploy, and troubleshoot services and applications supporting semiconductor manufacturing and enterprise DevOps initiatives
  • Participate in requirements discussions with manufacturing and engineering stakeholders across sites
  • Write readable, tested, and maintainable code
  • Contribute to improvements in our stack and development lifecycle alongside other engineers
  • Take part in code reviews, GitFlow, and documentation practices

 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline with at least two years completed before the internship begins.
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Proficiency with at least one general-purpose programming language (Python, C#, Ruby, Java, Javascript preferred)
  • Git-based collaboration: branches, commits, and merge requests
  • Relational database fundamentals and ability to write SQL queries
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a collaborative, interdisciplinary team

Preferred - and things you can pick up here:

  • A backend web framework (Django, Flask, FastAPI, ASP.NET Core) or a frontend one (React, Vue)
  • Designing and consuming REST APIs
  • Comfort reading and extending code you didn't write
  • Common design patterns, and judgement about when to reach for one
  • Containers and orchestration, preferable Docker and Kubernetes
  • Structured data formats (JSON, XML, CSV, Parquet) and file or message transport (SFTP, message queues)
  • Applied AI/ML workflows - some teams work on yield analytics and predictive maintenance
  • CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location) 

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
