Job description

A day in the life:

As a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist (all levels), you will support a large mission focused team in the pursuit of solving network and cybersecurity focused problems. Requisite computer science skills (mathematical models, methods, and/or techniques) are applied to each problem to provide state-of-the-art techniques, tools, and approaches.           

What you bring to the table:
  • Level 1
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
    • Atleast two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Level 2
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 5 years of relevant experience
    • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and
    • 3+ years of relevant experience
    • Doctorate in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Level 3
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 8+ years of relevant experience
    • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and
    • 6+ years of relevant experience
    • Doctorate in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Level 4
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science and 11+ years of relevant experience
    • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and
    • 9+ years of relevant experience
    • Doctorate in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and 7+ years of relevant experience
    • Experience designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematical models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g. algorithm or development) to study issues and solve problems 
      Engineering (electrical or computer) experience and/or high performance computing experience 
  • All levels must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph

Salary Range:   
  • Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation.  Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself. 
  • Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for these positions are:
    • Level 1:  $95,000 - $155,000
    • Level 2:  $115,000 - $175,000
    • Level 3:  $165,000 - $215,000
    • Level 4:  $180,000 - $230,000
