Job Summary:
Moore Colson is a leading accounting firm recognized for its excellence and workplace environment. They are seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a seamless technology experience for end users while contributing to system improvements in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Troubleshoot technical issues both in person and remotely (phone or remote access tools)
โ€ข Troubleshoot/setup wireless devices (Smart phones, Tablets, WAPs etc.)
โ€ข Troubleshoot network printers and copiers
โ€ข Work with 3rd party vendors to escalate and resolve more complex issues
โ€ข Set up and secure new user desktops and laptops. Rebuild/refresh computers as needed
โ€ข Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and licenses
โ€ข Log and track support tickets, maintaining detailed documentation for each ticket
โ€ข Ensure assignments and support cases are completed to end user satisfaction, following up with users as appropriate
โ€ข Install software, software updates, and patches (OS, Firm specific software)
โ€ข Troubleshoot, optimize, and clean computers from viruses and malware
โ€ข Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory
โ€ข Assist with employee office moves, on-boardings & terminations
โ€ข Set up and test user work areas and desks
โ€ข Research and recommend procedure and process modifications or improvements
โ€ข Assist with IT projects
โ€ข Develop employee โ€œHow-toโ€ documents. Assist and sometimes lead IT training
โ€ข Assist company employees with technical questions and communicate technical information to non-technical people
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Minimum of 2 yearsโ€™ experience providing IT helpdesk support
โ€ข Strong knowledge of Office365 and MS Windows 10/11
โ€ข Experience troubleshooting computers and peripherals (copiers, TVs, mobile devices, monitors, etc.)
โ€ข Experience working and supporting Office 365, MS Teams and Teams Conference Rooms
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s or associate degree in computer science, Information Systems or similar technical majors (Note: Will consider a non-degreed candidate if current on IT certifications or have relevant help desk experience)
โ€ข Strong client-facing interpersonal and communication skills. This will primarily be an end user support role, in a fast-paced environment.
โ€ข Experience supporting Android and iOS devices with MDM
โ€ข Must be willing to work extended hours and/or respond remotely when needed, to assist with projects and user needs
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience staging and setting up end users and computers
โ€ข Email delivery and Spam troubleshooting
โ€ข Experience working with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Print Server, MS Terminal Services etc.
โ€ข Experience with Azure Entra ID, Azure AVD, Intune, Defender XDR, and Office 365
