Job Description

Strong background in functional testing with the ability to design and develop comprehensive automated test strategy and test cases

Strong background in reviewing business and functional requirements in order to produce a test strategy and test cases

Perform automated functional and regression testing on all internally developed applications to certify them for production implementation

Report and manage software issues and test activities throughout the software development life cycle

Work closely with other QA department members to create/maintain the automated regression scripts

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four year college or university with a major in computer science, finance or mathematics

Must have 4+ years work experience in a QA role (Prior experience working in major financial institutions is preferred)

Must be proficient in one of the scripting/programming languages

Must be proficient with SQL

Knowledge of SQA methodologies and practices

Analytical and problem solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work in a highly demanding, fast paced environment

Must be knowledgeable with the Windows OS platforms/Office applications

Preferred

Knowledge of CDS business and industry

Experience with Fitnesse framework script development

Prior work experience at major financial institutions

GUI automation skills a plus
