UC Job Title : Associate Physician Diplomate
NEURORADIOLOGY Physician -- Remote/Hybrid
Job Summary
The applicant will provide clinical coverage for the Division of Neuroradiology and should demonstrate comprehensive expertise across all areas of the specialty, including interpretation of neuro radiographs, as well as CT and MRI studies of the brain, head, neck, and spine. The team is seeking an individual who is open to flexible scheduling and interested in incentive pay tied to patient read targets. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively and collegially within a diverse and inclusive environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
  • Active and Unrestricted California Medical License
  • Active and Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification
  • Board Certified in Medical Specialty
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPR
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree
  • Completion of US Residency Program in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Completion of a US Residency Program
  • Strong Political and institutional acumen sufficient to accomplish needed action in a complex public research university environment.
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Skills to analyze needs, establishing priorities, and provide appropriate medical care and preventive medicine services to the Campus community.
  • Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
  • Computer and keyboarding skills to use Electronic Medical Records software program.
  • This position is a critical position and subject to a background check.
  • Meets the credentialing and privileging standards for UCDHS medical staff.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Radiology Subspecialty Fellowship Certification in Neuroradiology
  • Fellowship training in neuroradiology.
  • Clinical expertise in all aspects of neuroradiology, including interpreting neuro radiographs, CT and MR of the brain head, neck and spine.
  • Knowledge of University and campus policies and procedures preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills in large and small group settings.

The UC Davis Department of Radiology performs imaging and therapeutic procedures for patients throughout Northern California. Our radiological services are timely, cost-effective, appropriate and of the highest quality. Routine and specialized imaging studies, visceral and vascular intervention procedures, and contemporary neuro-interventional services are available. The Department of Radiology serves the broader community by contributing to the understanding of health and disease through our diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, imaging and imaging technology-related clinical and basic science research. The department's missions focus on education, imaging-related research, and achieving the professional goals of our students, faculty and staff. Departmental educational programs are predominately directed towards the training of residents, medical students, and fellows as well as continued educational achievement of our faculty and staff, presenting at regional and national courses in postgraduate medical education.
