Advanced Application Specialist

Location:

Job location -Rosemont, IL- The position is based in Rosemont, IL, but remote work anywhere in the U.S. will be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the enterprise change management and software development lifecycle (SDLC) process including providing testing, defect management, peer review, and release management ensuring appropriate segregation of duties.

  • Write and maintain system documentation, process maps, test scripts, use cases, user stories, root cause analysis, and high-level integration and data flows.

  • Write and utilize scripting and file formatting utilities/configurations in support of applications and customer specifications.

  • Design and administer application software configuration to meet the business process design and application requirements.

  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, capable of presenting complex issues in a clear, concise and persuasive manner to the business, technical professionals and leadership.

  • Understand the interdependencies of systems and data across the banking business line to identify and analyze impacts as applications and systems are integrated, changed/upgraded and retired.

  • Provide Tier 2 application-level support and troubleshooting, escalation and complex problem-solving, providing support 24x7x365.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field plus 3 years of experience in a related occupation.

The position also requires:

  • Experience with Nice Actimize and Lexis Nexis Bridger Knowledge.

  • 3 years of experience with scripting.

  • 3 years of experience with SQL.

  • 3 years of experience with AML Compliance.

  • 3 years of experience with system testing including creation of a test plan and documentation of result.

  • 3 years of experience with applications implementation, testing, maintenance, configuration and support.

  • 2 years of experience in banking.

The salary for this role is $117, 957.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus.
