About the Role

Systems Engineer to support mission-critical manufacturing applications used across eight North American manufacturing facilities. This position focuses on maintaining system uptime, troubleshooting applications, supporting Windows server infrastructure, validating software upgrades, and ensuring manufacturing systems remain secure and reliable.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Windows Server administration, SQL databases, networking, and software/application support within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain manufacturing application systems across multiple North American facilities.
  • Troubleshoot application, server, and PC issues.
  • Deploy quarterly software upgrades and validate system functionality.
  • Perform Windows Server patching and validation.
  • Support cybersecurity, access control, and IT compliance initiatives.
  • Administer Windows Server environments and SQL databases.
  • Support system architecture, networking, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Manage application testing, traceability, and validation activities.
  • Coordinate with engineering, IT, and manufacturing teams in North America and Japan.
  • Support project planning, procurement, implementation, and progress tracking.
  • Participate in weekend support during scheduled maintenance activities.
