ADP Technology Services, Inc. is hiring a Lead Data Scientist in our Roseland, NJ location.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and analyze large data sets and perform exploratory analysis to assess data quality and relevance to project requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify, design, develop and implement advanced analytics projects that track the consumer conversion funnel from start to end.
  • Provide, interpret, and predict necessary metrics to support decisionโ€‘making, creating clear executiveโ€‘level communications on milestone achievements.
  • Code with machine learning tools such as Python, R, and Scala to synthesize millions of data sets into patterns that answer adโ€‘hoc requests.
  • Visualize data and insights using Tableau, presenting findings and actionable recommendations to peers and leadership.
  • Formulate analytical problems, extract and analyze data from multiple systems, and develop compelling visual representations of analyses.
  • Continually learn and apply new dataโ€‘science techniques to contribute to innovative products and services.
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field plus 6 years of related experience required.
  • Masterโ€™s degree and 4 years of related experience also acceptable.
Work Experience
  • 2+ years with Databricks or AWS Spark and SageMaker, Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Build and deploy NLU/NLP models and scalable microโ€‘services (Flask).
  • Statistical and dataโ€‘mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, neural networks, deep learning, socialโ€‘network analysis.
  • Machineโ€‘learning techniques: clustering, decisionโ€‘tree learning, artificial neural networks.
  • Containerization (Docker) and NoSQL databases (AWS Elastic Search, OpenSearch, MongoDB).
  • Experience with Amazon services: S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB.
  • Deepโ€‘learning models: CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformers, and largeโ€‘language models (BERT, MPNet).
