You will deliver asset roadmaps, scenario modeling, and CapEx approvals across Walmart and Sam’s Club.What you'll do...Senior Director, Data Science — Supply Chain Strategy: Perishable First MileAbout the Team (Supply Chain Strategy) Supply Chain Strategy is a strategy and analytics team that partners across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Product, Real Estate, and Program Management to shape network decisions and investment priorities. What you’ll do
  • Set long-term network strategy and asset needs for Perishable First Mile consolidation.
  • Translate long-range plans into sequenced asset plans (new, expansions, exits).
  • Lead scenario modeling to inform network design and investment decisions.
  • Drive CapEx approvals through governance forums with clear, decision-ready materials.
  • Build business cases for network transformations and individual assets in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead stakeholder alignment to ensure solutions are feasible, value-accretive, and executable.
  • Manage and develop a team of 3 data scientists.
  • Create and leverage AI agents to accelerate analysis, benchmarking, and strategy content development.
