Everett or Renton, Washington 3+ months Up to $123.00/Hour Contract Shift-1

BCA Structures organization is looking for structures design engineers with experience in aircraft structure design specializing in Landing Gear, Doors, or Windows (Flight Deck and/or Passenger)

Location could be Everett or Renton, WA. 100% onsite.

3+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.

RequirementsWhat you'll need

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil (including approved Structural), Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • ABET Accredited University required
  • 16+ years related work experience in structures design

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Has previous work experience working on Company Structures commodities
  • Experience with 3D modeling such as CATIA/ENOVIA
  • Ability to excel in a highly dynamic environment, team-oriented atmosphere
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex, nuanced results in a clear, concise manner that is easily understood by a wide audience
  • Have initiative and ability to recognize needs/SOW without explicit guidance
  • Be able to provide technical solutions to a wide range of problems
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Familiar with DCCS, ETAC, PDM

Bachelor's degree with 14 or more years' experience, Master's degreee with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
