Be registered full-time for the respective semester (9 semester credit hours during the fall semester, 9 semester credit hours during spring semester, 6 semester credit hours during the summer session(s)), or in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements on the degree plan.

- Assist with data entry as well as proper management and organization of Departmental files and records;
- Assist professional staff member who assigned to as well as Assistant Department Chair with various Department projects, tasks;
- Pay close attention to detail in the organization, tracking and reporting of assigned projects and work tasks;
- Assist in the administration of Department operations which includes but is not limited to scheduling meetings, emails and related tasks;
- Prepare reports and compile data based on specific requests and as required for record management processes;
-Assist with reception duties as needed, greets visitors, screens phone calls and provides information/assistance to students, faculty, staff and the general public.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
The Graduate Assistant assistantship award is available to master's and doctoral students who are assigned to a specific departmental administrative staff member. Maximum appointment is limited to twenty (20) hours per week (50% FTE).
