- The successful candidate will be a part of the team that is responsible for Enterprise Business Intelligence.
- This position requires that the candidate understands, uses and applies technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques and provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity.
- The candidate will also regularly interact with the customers to understand, document and communicate their needs, perform requirements analysis, develop and deliver reports and dashboards as per the requirements and contribute to the development and delivery of user training and documentation.
- The candidate will work under the general direction of the manager or the principal Systems Analyst and will independently determine and develop approach to solutions.
- The candidate will follow established procedures and contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects and keep up-to-date with the technology shifts through training.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
- Experience working in information technology industry
- Experience developing reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos 10.x (SAP Business Objects 3.x/4.x or Microsoft BI stack experience a plus)
- Experience with Cognos administration - Server administration (install, upgrade, troubleshoot Cognos environments), content administration (reports/package promotion, user security)
