We are currently looking for a Repair Technician to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair Sonetics products. Additional areas of responsibility include:

  • Troubleshoot headsets and repair based on customer complaints
  • Ability to use meters and basic measurement tools in the troubleshooting process.
  • Enter repair data into the ERP system.
  • Test, inspect, and assemble Sonetics products to maintain quality, service, and profitability.
  • Rework and perform complex modifications to a wide range of products to respond to customer needs.
  • Train team members on work procedures in order to maintain quality standards.
  • Pull parts, restock parts, maintain floor stock, and record inventory transactions to maintain inventory accuracy and meet production/repair needs.
  • Ensure safety and good housekeeping in production/repair area to maintain a safe work environment.

Required Education, Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience with electro-mechanical assembly/repair & ESD standards
  • Possess basic soldering skills & knowledge (wire)
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Able to use common hand tools and common electrical test equipment, as well as power tools such as power drills.
  • Attention to quality trends
  • Use of meters and basic measurement tools
  • Basic function testing
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and documents in English.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying 25 lbs.
  • Basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages)
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Ability to train others one-on-one
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
