Job Summary:

The Repair Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs at the station on Air Cargo equipment (Containers, Pallets, Nets).

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Abide by all company and aviation authority rules and guidelines
  • Perform maintenance on Air Cargo equipment in accordance with applicable regulated maintenance documents, to include: Sheet metal repair, drilling, riveting, etc.; Documenting work performed; Interfacing with computers/tablets; Reporting discrepancies; Maintaining organized work-station area, including parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Assist with upkeep of the facility
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to interface with computers/tablets
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task and apply initiative
  • Positive attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Safety conscious

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • TIG welding experience preferred
  • Related experience preferred
  • Military reservists welcome, we can work with your monthly and annual obligations

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Must be able to pass drug test per Federal Aviation Association (FAA) requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking; ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to service equipment

Work Schedule & Location:

  • Location: Onsite. Candidate must be local to our facility in Miami, FL
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

  • Base Pay
  • Annual Target Bonus, awarded based on company performance

  • Volunteer Time Off (VTO) up to 4 hours per quarter
