This position requires working on all aspects of the repair process. Candidates must have prior experience with handheld device repair or similar work.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 to 1.5 years of small electronic assembly experience in previous positions
- Technical school graduates are encouraged to apply
- Computer knowledge
- Prior experience with Handheld device repair or similar electronics device repair experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
- Identify parts for replacement and determine when machines require new parts
- Place orders for replacement parts as needed
- Perform a variety of technical and repair-related tasks
- Comfortable working with very small parts/tweezers?
- Follow standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Additional Information
- May require completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty
- May require 2–4 years of related experience
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
