Job description

JOB TITLE
[Production] (GA) Off-Line Assistant Manager
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Serve as technical expert for Team Members including technical training, as required.
  • Serve as technical expert of assigned area during vehicle launches.
  • Support daily production issues as required.
  • Prepare presentations/reports on current projects, progress, and issues to management.
  • Understand and control labor allocation.
  • Coordinate and lead project activities, including new equipment installation, supplier selection, and implementation phases.
  • Analyze and continuously improve performance of assigned area (safety, quality, production, cost, and human factors).
  • Participate in Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and other problem-solving teams, as directed by Senior Management.
  • Continually review technical developments in area of responsibility and propose new technology projects as appropriate.
  • Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned.
