Job Summary:
Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead validation efforts during the server product development lifecycle. In this role, you will drive daily execution, track weekly progress, and coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure timely delivery of validation milestones. You will leverage strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and ensure alignment on project deliverables and task completion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned validation projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, track, and maintain project requirements, timelines, and deliverables
  • Evaluate and review product requests for system compatibility testing eligibility
  • Drive cross-functional communication, ensuring effective task execution and weekly project status tracking and reporting
  • Partner with engineering and validation teams to develop and maintain the Qualified Component List (QCL) throughout product development stages
  • Lead regular meetings with internal database development teams to review and drive usability and feature enhancements
  • Work with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize software tools
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of server products, validation processes, and emerging technologies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • 1+ year of experience in the server or computer hardware industry preferred
  • Familiarity with product development and validation lifecycles
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile and/or Waterfall)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Proven problem-solving ability with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Proficiency in presentation and spreadsheet tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus

Salary Range
$75,000 - $100,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
