MARKETING INTERNSHIP GENERAL OVERVIEW
Join our amazing team this Summer! We are seeking incredible interns who love the Southwest Florida social scene and want to learn the inner workings of a media company from a marketing/branding perspective!
Our Marketing Intern will assist the marketing department to develop, establish, and maintain marketing strategies of our brands-Gulfshore Life, Gulfshore Business, The Naples Press, Gulfshore Home, Social Register, Gordon Drive, and Healthy Life-- goals and objectives.
This internship pays $14/hour.
This is an in-person opportunity, not remote.
SUMMARY of RESPONSIBILITIES:
Main Activities:
  • Maximum of 20 hours/week (Minimum in office 2x a week)
  • Collateral, brochure and program distribution
  • Make/maintain contact with local businesses, advertisers etc.
  • Administrative support and digital data maintenance
  • Assist onsite at events (check in, greeting guests, production, etc.)
  • Assist with special digital projects
  • Assist with sponsor/gift bag creation and organization
  • Assist with maintaining marketing closet organization
  • Create and maintain a calendar of community events (store openings, charities, conferences, fairs, festivals, premiers, etc.) to be submitted to Marketing Director
  • Be a positive ambassador for Gulfshore Life Media at all times when in public
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and personal presentation

  • Occasionally move and transport materials weighing up to 10-15 pounds (e.g., marketing materials, event supplies).
  • Ability to attend meetings, presentations, and occasional on-site events as needed.
  • Ability to maintain focus and complete tasks in a typical office or remote work environment.
