Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Early Career Programs Coordinator to join our U.S. Early Career Programs team in support of hiring activities for our Lafayette, LA Delivery Center. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with early career talent, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values relationship-building, organization, and candidate experience.
The coordinator will play a key role in supporting recruiting operations, campus engagement activities, candidate experience, and internship programming. Due to the local market and delivery center structure, this role will also assist with select recruiting activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, and interview support for early career hiring needs. This is an exciting opportunity to help students and early professionals launch their careers in IT and business consulting while supporting a collaborative and high-touch recruiting process.
This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As an Early Career Programs Coordinator, you will support recruiting operations, candidate experience activities, campus engagement initiatives, and internship programming for the Lafayette Delivery Center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
. Coordinate interviews and manage calendars for candidates and hiring teams, ensuring timely communication and a positive candidate experience.
. Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System and other recruiting tools; ensure compliance and data integrity throughout the hiring process.
. Prepare offer letters and support offer coordination activities in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers.
. Assist with onboarding coordination and pre-employment activities, including support for background investigations and security clearance initiation processes.
. Provide administrative and program support for recruiting events, career fairs, internship programming, and other early career initiatives.
. Support the summer internship program by coordinating intern activities, including networking events, appreciation initiatives, program communications, check-ins, and end-of-program presentations.
. Build and maintain relationships with local universities, career centers, faculty, and student organizations; participate in campus recruiting events and career fairs.
. Assist with sourcing, screening, and recruiting support activities for early career hiring needs within the Lafayette Delivery Center.
. Use traditional and non-traditional sourcing methods to help identify and engage early career talent.
. Support process improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, communication, and candidate experience.
. Serve as an ambassador for CGI's Early Career Programs team by delivering a professional, organized, and engaging experience for candidates and stakeholders.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience in recruiting coordination, human resources, talent operations, administrative support, or related fields may be considered in lieu of a degree.
. Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting recruiting, HR operations, program coordination, administrative functions, or related activities.
. Experience coordinating interviews, scheduling meetings, managing recruiting logistics, or supporting hiring activities.
. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools is preferred.
. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.
. Ability to travel within Louisiana for campus recruiting events and career fairs.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $31,700.00 - $63,900.00.
