Position Summary

Davcor Aviation Services is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedCAD & CNC Workflow Specialistto support our corporate office operations. This role will focus on 3D modeling workflows, converting complex 3D designs into accurate 2D manufacturing layouts, and supporting CNC hot wire programming and operational efficiency initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical design skills, workflow optimization capabilities, and experience supporting fabrication or manufacturing environments requiring precision, consistency, and speed.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining design, engineering support, and production workflow optimization in a collaborative and fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, modify, and maintain detailed 3D CAD models and assemblies

  • Efficiently convert 3D models into precise 2D layouts for manufacturing applications

  • Extract accurate vector paths and DXF files for downstream production use

  • Support workflow optimization initiatives to improve production efficiency and turnaround times

  • Program and operate hot wire CNC equipment

  • Troubleshoot CAD-to-production workflow issues and identify process improvements

  • Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are maintained throughout production workflows

  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and production personnel to support project requirements

  • Organize and maintain CAD files, revision controls, and digital documentation

  • Assist with prototype development and fabrication support as needed

  • Maintain compliance with company safety procedures and operational standards

Qualifications
  • Prior experience with 3D CAD modeling software required

  • Strong understanding of converting 3D models into 2D production-ready layouts

  • Experience extracting vector paths and generating DXF files

  • Experience programming and operating hot wire CNC equipment preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
