Location

HYBRID: If in Ottawa, you must be in the office at least three days a week.

Term Duration

This is a full-time, 8, or 12-month position, starting September 2026.

Co-op / Intern Eligibility

This position is open to co-ops and interns. To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in full-time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.

Compensation range

$24.15 - $35.42hourly rate. The final offer within this range will reflect the candidateโ€™s skills, year of education, and experience.

What you will do

  • Use a variety of modern technologies and work across the software development lifecycle from development through build and into testing and test automation.
  • Develop high quality, well-crafted code that delivers value to our customers
  • Test the work of other team members and develop automated tests
  • Collaborate with developers and testers on your team, and other teams
  • Support a variety of special projects as needed

What we are looking for

  • 3rd year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent program
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for writing well-crafted, maintainable, robust, unit-test covered code
  • Experience with data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and other core software concepts
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical ideas
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to our processes

Things that would definitely help

  • Prior development experience with C++
  • Practical Knowledge of C++ STL containers
  • Development experience with Java/C#, and/or Typescript
  • Experience with Network programming
  • Understanding of Cloud Platforms and Kubernetes
