Become a Key Player as a Quality Inspector 2

You will ensure parts and assemblies meet quality and reliability standards, protecting downstream production and customer requirements. You will work with production and engineering stakeholders to identify and resolve design and process inefficiencies. This is an Onsite role on a first shift schedule (Monday–Thursday, early morning start).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Conduct examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components at multiple production stages
  • Perform routine visual and mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
  • Use gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools to verify parts and sensor components
  • Participate in statistical process data analysis to confirm compliance or identify deviations
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for acceptance/rejection and technical quality assurance procedures
  • Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective actions
  • Identify and report design, process, or other quality inefficiencies
  • Support variable schedules as needed, including potential nights, weekends, or additional hours
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • 2–5 years of relevant quality inspection experience
  • Experience working in quality inspection or test and knowledge of first article inspection
  • Ability to follow detailed job instructions and apply systematic quality assurance approaches
  • Skilled at measuring and using test equipment (gauges, calipers, height gauges, micrometers, comparators, etc.)
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings using GD&T and blueprint reading
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and aerospace standards such as AS9100
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and effective oral/written communication
  • Experience performing internal audits and preparing required documentation
