Job description

Astronics Connectivity Systems & Certification (Astronics CSC) designs, engineers, manufactures and certifies reliable digital in-flight entertainment and cabin management systems (IFE/CMS) for the corporate, private and VIP aircraft industry. Our custom digital applications have been installed and commissioned on a wide range of VIP/VVIP narrowbody and widebody platforms in addition to numerous private and utility jet, turboprop, and helicopter models.

Astronics CSC is a world leader in designing and integrating custom digital IFE/CMS systems. Our product line covers every facet of in-flight entertainment and cabin management control including: entertainment, lighting, call, temperature, audio/video on demand, tablet integration, real-time 3-D moving map, and much more. We also offer customized graphical user interfaces accessible on our touchscreens, allowing seamless and intuitive control of the IFE/CMS system.

Must be within 1 hour commute of Savannah and willing to be onsite.

Job Functions/Purpose

Provides high level, visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation support, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and training to the customer.

  • Serve as the primary support point of contact for all communication with assigned customers, manage customer expectations, and act as their internal advocate for the design, production, and oversight of the installation of In-Flight Entertainment and Cabin Management Systems (IFE/CMS) onboard private, government and commercial applications.
  • Maintain continuous communication with customers and between departments within the organization, ensuring both are equally represented.
  • Interact with sales, engineering, production, and other members of the cross-functional team to focus on the delivery of new or enhanced products and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
  • Trains customers on how the system works.
  • Frequent travel
  • Assists with sustainable engineering by providing feedback on issues and solutions.
  • Rotatable on-call AOG support and quick reaction to customer technical needs.
  • Assist other areas to maintain product airworthiness and functionality.

The salary range specified is applicable to positions within the Washington State and reflects various factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, individual skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and the specific needs of our business and organization. At Astronics CSC, it is uncommon for new hires to receive an offer at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are made based on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate. The current estimated yearly salary range for this position is $82,430 to $92,645 per year. In addition, you will be eligible for our Quarterly Incentive compensation bonus. Astronics offers a competitive salary, along with opportunities for career growth.
