Job Title: CAD / GIS Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Project-Based)

Schedule: Part-Time

Rate: $30 - $35/hour


Position Summary

Phoenix Staff is seeking a detail-oriented CAD / GIS Technician to support an active construction and engineering team. This position will assist with maintaining, updating, and organizing project drawings and mapping data to support ongoing field and office operations.

The ideal candidate has experience working with AutoCAD and/or GIS software, enjoys working with technical drawings and spatial data, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in dynamic team environment.


Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain CAD drawings and GIS mapping data.
  • Assist with revisions to project plans, layouts, and supporting documentation.
  • Organize and maintain drawing files and project records.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to incorporate design updates.
  • Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Support ongoing construction and infrastructure projects with drafting and mapping needs.
  • Perform other related technical drafting and GIS support duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or GIS software in a professional environment.
