Job description

Position Summary
ITT Aerospace Controls offers a best-in-class internship experience designed to immerse students in the aerospace industry. As a Manufacturing & Test Engineer Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and real-world projects that contribute to the innovation of fluid motion control and environmental control system solutions used in aerospace applications.
Interns work closely with experienced engineers and industry experts, gaining valuable insights into engineering processes, product development, and problem-solving strategies. With access to state-of-the-art facilities and mentorship from leading professionals, this internship is an ideal launchpad for students passionate about making an impact in the aerospace and defense market.
Essential Responsibilities
• Support and lead projects related to the manufacture, production, and automation of FMC & ECS products
• Apply manufacturing processes and technologies, including automation, robotics, and LEAN/data-driven principles
• Coordinate technical developments, scheduling, costing, and resolution of engineering design and test issues
• Support customer visits, data reviews, and provide technical information
• Assist in the integration of technical activities and products
• Work under the supervision of engineers, engineering management, and operations leadership
• Establish test criteria and perform test analysis of prototype and qualification components
Position Requirements
• Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) program (BS/MS/PhD) and in good academic standing
• Experience or familiarity with CAD software
