Overview
As an Information Technology (IT) Application Specialist Intern at Lutron, you will contribute to high-impact projects throughout your term. Your efforts will help to advance real solutions to real challenges faced in the design, development, and production of smart lighting and shading systems.
Responsibilities
Interns are an integral part of our project teams. At Lutron, your skills and passion for IT will be nurtured through personalized on-the-job training, mentorship, and supervision by industry experts. Information Technology Interns at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality solutions. An Information Technology internship position at Lutron offers you a chance to experience the business world first-hand and to learn how Lutron operates as a company. You will interface with people across different areas and levels throughout the company.

Qualifications
We seek talented, success-minded people with the desire and ability to make things happen. Our baseline requirements are simple:
  • You are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, Web Science, or Mathematics
  • Your cumulative GPA is at least a 3.20
  • You are a rising junior, rising senior, or master's student at the start of the internship
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
