Description:

Hickok Waekon is a Contract Manufacturing and Engineering company that is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Manufacturing Engineer at our manufacturing facility in Greenwood. MS. Hickok Waekon designs, manufactures, sells and supports various products in the Transportation and Industrial Industries (Automotive, Aviation, Locomotive, Emissions, Marine, and Food Processing Plant equipment).

Primary responsibilities will be to develop and assist in developing comprehensive strategies for mechanical production efficiencies for the manufacturing of present and future products.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree-level or equivalent experience and have a proven track record in manufacturing or related field. The candidate must be a talented ‘all-rounder’ and be able to work in a multi-disciplined manufacturing team. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, creativity skills, honesty, integrity, an eagerness to learn, and a high level of personal motivation and drive.

Requirements:
  1. Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience with a proven track record in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  2. Ability to develop CAD drawings and Models using Autocad Inventor or equivalent software.
  3. Ability to solve mechanical problems in a manufacturing environment.
