CAD Design & 3D Printing AssistantBring Ideas to Life

Are you passionate about design, technology, and hands-on problem-solving? We're seeking a CAD Design & 3D Printing Assistant to support product development through 3D modeling, additive manufacturing, and prototype production. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both computer-based design work and hands-on technical projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks or similar CAD software

  • Convert sketches and concepts into production-ready designs

  • Prepare and optimize files for 3D printing

  • Set up, operate, and maintain 3D printers (FDM, SLA, SLS)

  • Use slicing software such as Cura, Orca Slicer, or Bambu Studio

  • Perform post-processing tasks including support removal, sanding, curing, and finishing

  • Inspect printed parts for quality and accuracy

  • Maintain organized project files and documentation

  • Collaborate with Design and Product Development teams to refine and improve designs

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in CAD, Engineering Technology, or a related field

  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar CAD software

  • Familiarity with 3D printing technologies and slicing software

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Experience with FDM, SLA, or other additive manufacturing systems

  • Exposure to product development or prototyping environments
