About Us
Team Royal is looking for an Associate Drafter to join our team. Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, and specifications utilizing established company drafting standards.
  • Assist engineers in the design and drafting activities.
  • Assist engineers in technical tasks such as take-offs, estimates, schedules, reports, and technical research.
  • Efficiently operate computer-assisted design and drafting workstations.
  • Occasionally perform field surveys to create drawings of existing conditions.
  • Ensure clients' needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Interface with senior staff to complete single and multidisciplinary projects.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
Education: Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature, which may be obtained with a two-year associate degree, diploma, or equivalent from a college, technical, business, vocational, or correspondence school. Relevant and sufficient work experience may be substituted for a two-year associate degree requirement.
Experience: Over three years up to and including 8 years of experience in preparation of engineering drawings and constructing projects of moderate complexity and scale.
License: Valid Driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of drafting principles, practices, and tools.
  • Knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and mathematics to complete drawings.
  • Extremely meticulous and accurate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to be both creative and analytical.
  • Proficient in computer-assisted design (CAD) and other design, data recording, and analyzation software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to acclimate to project management software or related software.
