Role Overview
BayCare is seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst Senior to serve as a technical leader within our digital experience ecosystem. This role is ideal for a senior-level software developer with deep expertise in modern web engineering, cloud-native architectures, and API-driven solutions who is passionate about building scalable, high-quality digital experiences.
In this role, you will support our current on-prem Sitecore XP 10.4 environment while helping define and lead the technical direction for our future CMS/DXP platform (Optimizely, Sitecore XM Cloud, Contentstack, or similar). You will play a key role in architecting headless solutions, building reusable enterprise components, establishing best practices, and mentoring junior developers.
  • Candidates must reside in Florida or be willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of headless, API-driven digital experiences.
  • Architect reusable components, libraries, and integration patterns for future CMS platforms.
  • Provide technical direction for React, .NET, and Azure-based solutions.
  • Evaluate and influence CMS/DXP platform decisions (Optimizely, XM Cloud, Contentstack).
  • Build advanced front-end applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks.
  • Develop backend services and APIs using.NET 8+,C#, and cloud-native patterns.
  • Implement integrations with Sitecore XP 10.4 and future CMS APIs (REST/GraphQL).
  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, performance, accessibility, and scalability.
  • Lead troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis for production issues.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability patterns (App Insights, Log Analytics).
  • Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Partner with designers, content authors, platform engineers, and product owners.
  • Mentor junior developers and guide coding standards, patterns, and best practices.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience (one of the following):
    • 8 years Programming with High School or Equivalent
    • 5 years Specific Systems experience with demonstrated competency as a Programmer with High School or Equivalent
    • 4 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in Computer Science field
    • 2 years high-value software skills experience with Bachelor's related field
  • Expert-level experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end development practices.
  • Strong experience with Next.js or similar React-based frameworks.
  • Advanced experience with .NET 8+, C#, and API development.
  • Solid understanding of headless CMS architectures and API-driven content delivery.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Application Insights, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of content modeling, component architecture, and CMS workflows.
  • Proven ability to lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
  • Excellent debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Sitecore, Optimizely, Contentstack, or other enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Experience with SaaS and cloud-native DXP platforms.
  • Knowledge of personalization, search, CDN optimization, and caching strategies.
  • Experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with DevOps maturity models and automation strategies.
