Job description

Position: English & Communications Adjunct Professor
Hours/Status: Part-Time
Reports to: Dean of Instruction/Program Director
Location: Wisconsin Market (Wauwatosa & Racine Campuses)
**Fall Term begins September 9, 2026
Responsibilities:
  • Teach 3-14 contact hours in English and/or Communications based on qualifications and college need
  • Provide skills assistance, tutoring, and workshops related to writing, communication and research
  • Complete and maintain a teaching portfolio
  • Assist in integrating writing and communication skills across the curriculum and in developing program-specific activities in General Education courses

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in English
  • Knowledge of computer software and research databases
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and student success
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to make meaningful and positive connections with diverse student body in a career college environment
