Job description

We are seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our Ranson, WV factory.

Schedule - Mon - Fri 10:30pm - 7:00am

Starting Pay - $21 per hour with additional $1 per hour night shift differential

Your future team:

As a member of the Warehouse team, you will become an integral part of the ROCKWOOL supply chain that provides day to day management of finished goods, housing of inventory and on-time shipment of products. You will support operations to meet the needs of our customers, ensuring products are aesthetically packaged to specifications and to our high-quality standards. You will receive training on equipment, such as forklifts, to complete your work and be educated on all safety procedures to ensure you are working in a safe manner.

What you will be doing:

  • Load and unload ROCKWOOL product and materials from pallets, skids, platforms, trucks, lifting devices or other transport sources, while ensuring no damage to the product, and that products are accurately labelled.

  • Implement a diligent inventory management process to account for product location and distribution which often involves using physical stock counts and investigating discrepancies and adjusting errors.

  • Maintain work equipment, which may require basic troubleshooting, and act as a first line of defense for process, mechanical and technical issues.

  • Team player who can work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

  • Ensure the correct product volumes are produced and delivered against production plan and key performance factors as part of the customer order fulfilment team.

What you bring:

  • At least 2 years' experience operating a forklift, clamp truck, or pallet jack required.

  • Preference given to candidates with experience in a continuous flow manufacturing or industrial environment working with automated equipment.

  • Previous SAP experience preferred

  • Organizational and analytical skills

  • Basic computer knowledge and skills

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
