Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in their search for Clean Room Manufacturing Operator positions in Braintree, MA. Responsibilities:

  • The Machinist will be responsible for operating computer-controlled manufacturing equipment including Swiss lathes, automated parts washers, grinders, honing equipment, and centerless grinders to produce precision components to established specifications.

  • Set up, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting on machining equipment while ensuring product quality and adherence to production standards.

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.) in accordance with print specifications, including First Article inspections.

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure consistent quality, productivity, and compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Accurately record production and quality data in manufacturing systems, including inspection results and required documentation.

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, ISO, and FDA regulations while working in a clean and controlled manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or G.E.D. is required.

  • 0-3 years of experience in machining, manufacturing, production, or operating CNC or computer-controlled equipment is required.

  • Hands-on experience working with machining equipment such as Citizen Lathes, Haas Grinders, Sunnen Hone, Centerless Grinders, or similar equipment is strongly preferred.

  • Experience performing dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, or gauges is preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings or blueprints is preferred.

  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as medical device manufacturing or under GMP standards is preferred.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills are required, including the ability to enter and track data in manufacturing systems.

  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and work both independently and within a team environment.

  • Must be comfortable working with cow skin as part of the daily job.
