Job description

Job Title: Production Operator Location: Denver, CO Type: Contract Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Operate batch making equipment, mixers, pumps, and related machinery in accordance with production schedules and safety standards.
  • Weigh and measure raw materials, prepare batches, and ensure high-quality manufacturing processes.
  • Package finished goods into pails, drums, totes, or bulk tanks as per product specifications.
  • Receive bulk deliveries, coordinate transfers to storage tanks, and put away packaged materials following 5S standards.
  • Conduct routine inventory cycle counts and stock checks, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely, maintaining equipment in clean, operational condition.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including managing incoming and outgoing materials and documentation.
  • Report unsafe practices, equipment malfunctions, and non-conformances to supervision promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager to meet production goals and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Physically capable of performing all duties related to production and warehouse operations.
  • Good planning skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in basic computer operations, calculations, and measurements.
  • Ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently under quality standards and deadlines.
  • Forklift certification is required.
