Position Type: Temporary - Full-Time

About the role.

What you'll be doing.

  • Efficiently operate all computer-controlled equipment on the French Fry and Specialty Line
  • Starting and shutting down production equipment as required, as well as changing and monitoring line settings on a regular basis
  • Maintaining close communications with production supervisors, boiler room operators and line maintenance to ensure efficient line operations
  • Recording line settings, production figures and downtime on an hourly basis in SPC and PI
  • Willing to learn new technologies as they are implemented in the factory
  • Must comply with HACCP rules and regulations.
  • Ensure SQCDME targets are met by understanding and goal setting of KPI's
  • Must follow "Good Manufacturing Practices" (GMP's)
  • Participate in Process Team meetings, as required
  • Participate and record change over meeting minutes
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need to be successful.

  • Minimum of Grade 12 education required
  • Post-secondary education considered an asset
  • Proven communication skills, ability to work in a team environment in both a lead and participant role.
  • Able to work without direct supervision
  • Ability to work well with plant supervision and production employees
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently to identify and resolve unexpected problems
  • Basic computer skills required for daily work routine
  • Experienced within the Fry Line and Specialty Line would be a definite asset
  • Team player with an excellent safety and attendance record

Compensation Package: - Starting at 24.40 CAD hourly + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
