Agarthan Industries (https://agarthanindustries.com) is a start-up machine shop built on the idea of using AI agents and automation to compress lead times. We have a Haas VF-2YT and a prototype application that creates CAM setups in Fusion 360 using a 3D STP file and a 2D drawing.

We are looking to hire a CNC machinist to review and update the CAM setup and run the CNC machine to create and inspect the part. You will be paid on a per-job basis until we have built up enough traction to move you into a full-time machinist role.


Looking for ambitious and innovative CNC machinists who want to be a part of a machine shop with a tech start-up mentality and approach to growth. We are located in Carlstadt, NJ.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery setup, including experience with CNC equipment.
  • Proficiency in Machining and Milling, with the ability to work from technical drawings and CAD/CAM outputs.
  • Experience in Quality Control, including measuring, inspecting, and documenting part conformity.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and best practices in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience as a CNC machinist or in precision manufacturing; technical or vocational training in machining is preferred.
